At the National Courier Association AGM, held this year in The Marriott Hotel, Hollins Hill, Leeds, on March 13, 2010, Road Runners once again won the award of "Best Courier Company In The South West Region (UK)." The judges said that Road Runners had been the most consistent in providing the highest levels of service under the following headings: 'Service', 'Reliability' and 'Prompt Payment'. Mike McCartney, MD of Road Runners said afterwards that he was very proud of his staff that were instrumental in the Company achieving this award. They had worked very hard in the past year with the aim of lifting the National Award. "That they were only a handful of points short of this objective", McCartney said, "is clear evidence of the committment of these people and that our 'continuous improvement programme' is paying off." This is the 10th time since the National Courier Association was set up in 1988 that Road Runners has won this award.
